The business forecasts a great growth year for 24/25 and therefore they will be looking to appoint a person who is an experienced Sales Administrator who can hit the ground running and develop with the business. This is a critical role supporting the front-line Sales Team by assisting in the design, costing and preparation of customer quotations, working with both the Sales and Technical team to ensure our proposals meet the customer requirements competitively. As well as supporting proposals led by the Sales Managers, the successful candidate will deal directly with customers on supply only component part enquiries and orders, as well as with some smaller customers for full system enquiries and orders. The role will also entail an involvement in processing orders, including checking designs and BOMs, forwarding order documentation to the relevant stakeholders and participation in weekly Right First Time (RFT) meetings. Finally, as a dual role, you will also be responsible for delivering first line technical support for customers, resolving issues where possible and escalating to our second line support team where necessary. The ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competences: Responsibility Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer service at all times. Manage the on-vehicle Sales Order Processing (SOP) inbox, check system designs and BOMs, populate and issue Workshop Request Forms where required and co-ordinate the processing of orders. Generate completion paperwork. Support the Head of On-Vehicle Sales, Key Account Managers and Business Development Managers, by designing, costing and creating customer proposals for their managed and target customer accounts. Serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking service advise or technical assistance over the phone or by email. Provide telephone and online customer technical support. Be familiar with our varied client base and work in line with all policies, processes, and services. Follow-up and update the customers with order status and information to completion. Determine the best escalation route based on the issue and details provided by clients, accurately recoding the information on tickets. Be required to complete user account administration requests within Office 365. Take details of any problems, service requirements, feedback or suggestions from clients even if they fall outside of your remit then escalate these appropriately to the relevant team. Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedure. Communication with clients. Offer customers accurate lead time estimates. Assist in maximising responders to our annual Customer Excellence Survey and net promoter respondents. Collaborating with internal departments. Prepare reports.
