Procurement Manager
Salary: £35,000
Location: Ashford
️ Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm (no weekends!)
We’re proud to be partnering exclusively once again with an ambitious and supportive company that’s expanding its team following recent growth. This opportunity for a Procurement Manager is key to overseeing the procurement process for various products and projects.
In this role, you’ll:
* Manage purchase orders, ensuring there’s enough warehouse space before stock is ordered .
* Build strong relationships with suppliers.
* Oversee the expenditure plan for current and future projects to keep cash flow healthy and stock levels just right.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan accurate and timely orders.
* Maintain a detailed procurement schedule and track order status.
* Collaborate with the operations team to ensure products are dispatched on time.
* Foster and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.
* Process orders and secure the best deals.
* Regularly evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues.
* Manage stock levels to avoid overstocking.
* Control and log inventory precisely.
* Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations.
* Prepare financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
* Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely supplier payments.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
* Experience using SAGE.
* Excellent relationship-building and organisational skills.
* Proven experience in procurement and inventory management.
