Job Title: Senior Bid Manager - Major Commercial Projects
Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working)
Package: Up to £90,000 Basic Salary + £6,700 Car Allowance + Annual Bonus
Your New Role
As Senior Bid Manager, you will take full ownership of the bid lifecycle for key opportunities. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop and deliver compelling, successful tenders. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Driving bid strategy and developing innovative win themes for major commercial projects.
* Leading the entire bid process, from initial opportunity qualification through to tender submission and negotiation.
* Managing and mentoring bid teams to produce high-quality, persuasive tender documents.
* Acting as the key point of contact for clients and consultants during the procurement process.
* Converting second-stage and framework opportunities into live, contracted projects.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Essential experience as a Bid Manager within a Tier 1 main contracting environment.
* A demonstrable track record of successfully securing large-scale commercial projects (e.g., offices, mixed-use developments, retail, leisure).
* Expert knowledge of modern procurement routes, particularly public sector frameworks and two-stage tenders.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
* A degree-level qualification in a construction-related discipline is highly desirable.
