The purpose of the Behavioral Health Integration Therapist is to promote sound behavioral and mental health within the primary care medical setting as an integral aspect of wellness for patients at Northern Nevada HOPES.
The Integration Therapist promotes behavioral and mental health as an important dimension of overall wellness. The Behavioral Health Integration Therapist works in the medical clinic as part of the multidisciplinary treatment team including medical providers, case managers, nurses and Medical Assistants. The Integration Therapist is the behavioral health expert on the team and conducts assessments, in-the-moment interventions, brief therapy, and referrals to additional services or specialty behavioral health as needed.

Requirements
* Due to real and potential conflicts of interest that exist when HOPES Behavioral Health providers render services to their coworkers, it is HOPES’ policy (Policy HR0005) that HOPES employees may not access HOPES Behavioral Health Services. For the same reason, current Behavioral Health patients/clients cannot be employed by HOPES. Accordingly, you hereby acknowledge and understand that if you are receiving services from a HOPES Behavioral Health provider at the time you are offered and accept employment with HOPES, you have the option of rescinding your acceptance of employment or finding a new behavioral health provider outside of HOPES before starting employment with HOPES.
* Completion of a Master’s level program and licensure (eligibility) in the State of Nevada as an LCSW or LFMT required.
* Prior experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders required.
* Therapeutic experience within the clinical setting required.
* Valid BLS required prior to hire, per HRSA compliance.
