Shifts Available: Day Shift or Late Shift
Our aerospace client in Bedhampton is looking for five Mechanical Technicians to support the assembly of precision hydraulic components. If you have hands‑on assembly expertise and a passion for high‑quality engineering, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading OEM.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble hydraulic pumps, motors and generators following engineering drawings and detailed specifications
* Work accurately to tight tolerances and follow Standard Operating Procedures
* Produce high‑quality aerospace components that meet strict regulatory and industry standards
* Record work in line with quality requirements and support continuous improvement activity
Requirements
* Aerospace or manufacturing assembly qualification preferred
* Strong attention to detail and confidence working with fine tolerances
* Ability to obtain certification to sign off work to required specifications
* A proactive, quality‑driven approach
Additional Duties
* Support 5S and lean manufacturing processes
* Assist with layout improvements and wider technical tasks within the team

Pay Rates
* Days: £15.42 per hour PAYE (or £17.66 including holiday pay)
* Lates: £18.50 per hour PAYE (or £21.19 including holiday pay)
* Overtime: Time and a half after 37 hours and on Saturdays; double time on Sundays and bank holidays
Working Hours
* Earlies: Mon-Thurs 07:15-15:45, Fri 07:15-12:15
* Lates: Mon-Thurs 14:15-00:00
About the Facility
Bedhampton forms part of the Fuel & Motion Control Systems Division, responsible for the manufacture, assembly, testing and servicing of advanced aerospace products including hydraulic pumps, motors, electric motorpumps, power transfer units and generator control units. These systems are essential to the operation of flight‑critical controls across civil and military aircraft, supporting both fixed‑wing and rotary platforms. The site is recognised as a leader in high‑performance aerospace hydraulics and control systems.
