You’ll play a key part during a period of transformation and change while helping to maintain our culture we’re so proud of. Working with our people team based in Newport and London you’ll report into our Senior People Partner. You’ll be responsible for providing a top-quality HR service to our retail teams. You’ll be at the forefront of providing HR support to our retail teams on anything from giving advice on recruitment related queries to guiding managers on our policies and procedures. A longside this you’ll work with the team to push forward with our people agenda. Providing advice and support to our employees and managers on people related matters. Supporting and guiding our managers on our JoJo policies and procedures. Working with our L&D and people team to develop management capabilities and skills around people management. Overseeing and coordinating our retail recruitment process through to employment using our ATS. Assisting our managers with employee relations casework and welfare support in line with JoJo and legal requirements - sometimes this will require you to travel to our stores. Providing support with our monthly payroll process. Ensuring our systems and database packages are up to date and accurate in line with our JoJo deadlines. Driving and delivering people excellence in line with KPI’s contributing to a great people service and employee satisfaction. Working with our people team to develop and implement people initiatives to support our JoJo business goals. Level 5 CIPD or equivalent qualification/ experience in HR. Previous experience of working within a multisite environment (desirable). Excellent working knowledge of Employment Law. Knowledge of GDPR. Experience of working in a generalist HR role. Previous experience of working with HR systems. Experience of working with an ATS. A full driving license – you’ll be travelling to our stores to support when required. The ability to establish effective relationships and able to demonstrate experience in collaborating, persuading and challenging across all levels. A solution orientated approach with the ability to work with others to efficiently find the best outcome. You’ll enjoy staying on top of HR developments and sharing these with the team. You’ll have great communication skills with the ability to liaise with all departments within JoJo. You’ll take direction well and work amazingly as part of a team, but you’ll also be a dab hand at working independently. You’ll have the knack to work quickly and always to a very high standard with fantastic organisational skills. You’ll have a meticulous eye for detail and be able to identify areas for improvement. You’ll enjoy working under pressure and working to deadlines. You’ll be resilient to a changing and agile environment.
