Overview
Hale Veterinary Group have a rare opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Out-Of-Hours (OOH) service, trading as Nightingale Emergency Vets, due to a team member moving up country. We are an expanding, progressive, RCVS accredited practice with branches in Calne, Corsham and Melksham as well as our main hospital in Chippenham. Our OOHs service, launched in January 2022, has received rave reviews from clients and member practices. Our Tier 3 status Veterinary Hospital has the ISFM Cat Friendly Practice gold award and is equipped to a high standard with plans to expand, including a CT scanner. The Area
The practice is close to the M4 and five minutes from the train station, making it accessible for clients and team members. The local area offers the Cotswolds, Cardiff, Bristol, Bath and is within easy reach of London by train.
The Role
7 nights on, 14 nights off (average 31.5 hours per week). No day work unless the candidate wishes to assist the weekend day team. You will work alongside a dedicated experienced RVN and should be confident with sole working. A high level of engagement in cases and progression, with a focus on client value and professional satisfaction, is strongly supported. We are a supportive, close-knit team and look forward to welcoming a new member.
