Salary: £26458 FTE (£23,000 PA Pro rata - based on 36.75 hours per week term time only)
Contract terms: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:45am-4:45pm, Tuesday: 8:45am-5:30pm, Friday 8:45am-4:30pm Term time Only

Working one to one with pupils within small classes and in groups, you will design, plan and deliver teaching sessions to encourage pupils learning and progression as well as improve their social and emotional development. 14. Behaviour analysis specific qualifications including Teaching Accreditations, Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT), Board Certified Behaviour Analysis certification (BCBA) and UK Society for Behaviour Analysis certification (UKBA(cert))

Responsibilities of the role
19. Preparing and delivering lessons and activities, focusing largely on communication and life skills
20. Within small classes encourage pupils learning and progression whilst seeking to improving their social and emotional development
21. Contributing to research and undertaking training to support your personal development
22. Supporting pupils’ participation in trips, applying theory-based learning to practice
23. Providing behaviourally based support and monitoring pupil progress
What do I need to apply?
24. A psychology degree (or in final year pending completion)
25. Professional, personal or voluntary experience of working with children and disabilities
26. The desire to work with children with complex needs
27. The ability to keep calm in high pressure situations
28. A positive, patient, caring and can-do attitude
29. Driver’s licence or access to a lift (due to remote location of our site)
30. Confidence when working with children who exhibit behaviour that challenges and supporting with personal/intimate care
