We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. Duties
* Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
* Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and organisation
* Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering medication guidance under supervision
* Maintain precise patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
* Support medication administration processes where applicable, ensuring safety protocols are followed
* Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety regulations at all times
* Process prescriptions, insurance claims, and other administrative tasks related to pharmacy operations
* NHS COVID and Flu Vaccination
Qualifications
* Proven pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
* Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
* Relevant certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician (where applicable) is preferred
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations
