Business Analyst - Contract - Underwriting Workbench Implementation - Outside IR35
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Contract Business Analyst to join our Specialty Insurance client at the commencement of a significant underwriting transformation programme. This role will play a pivotal part in the successful implementation of a new Underwriting Workbench platform, enabling enhanced efficiency and decision-making across our specialty insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with underwriting, operations, and technology stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document business requirements.
* Define and map underwriting processes to align with best practice and strategic objectives.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of an Underwriting Workbench, ideally leveraging low-code/no-code technologies.
* Ensure that business needs are accurately translated into functional and technical specifications.
* Support user acceptance testing, training, and adoption activities.
* Act as the subject matter expert for underwriting processes and workflow optimisation within the specialty insurance domain.
Candidate Profile
* Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst within the specialty insurance or London Market. (Essential)
* A strong track record of involvement in Underwriting Workbench implementations. (exposure to low-code/no-code technology platforms is highly desirable).
* Comprehensive understanding of underwriting practices, workflows, and specialty market dynamics.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Availability to commence an Outside IR35 contract at short notice.
This is an initial 6 month engagement, Outside IR35 and based in London 2-3 days per week.
