Engineering Manager Up to £70,000 depending on experience plus car allowance Northamptonshire Days Only (Mon-Fri) gap technical are proud to be representing this national manufacturing business in their search for an Engineering Manager to work at their facility based in Northamptonshire. Performance Objectives Communicate and co-ordinate activities in conjunction with the leadership team to ensure that all business activities and objectives are achieved. Plan, prepare and manage the maintenance budget to deliver the agreed levels of plant performance and cost. Plan, control, train and develop in-house labour and manage external labour as appropriate to deliver agreed plant availability at optimum cost. Organise availability of spares and consumables to meet engineering and production needs at minimum cost. Plan, organise and implement preventative maintenance to achieve target plant availabilities. Set standards, organise procedures and measure performance to ensure continuous improvement. Organise and monitor compliance with statutory and company Health and Safety requirements. Plan, control and implement projects as agreed with the Senior Leadership Team. Plan and control maintenance utilities to ensure agreed availability and efficiency improvements within budgeted cost. Organise and implement capital projects from feasibility to successful commissioning to agreed timescales and costs as agreed with the Operations and Supply Chain Director Any other duties relevant to the role.
