We are looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a first opinion small animal veterinary practice near to the City of York area in North Yorkshire
* excellent full time opportunity working 4 days a week including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no OOH
* practice is purpose built and is established and busy with up to date equipment and technologies
* varied surgical and medical caseload with a range of interesting cases
* ideally you will already have experience in practice with good routine surgical and medical skills
* role offers a great opportunity to further develop and special interests are welcomed and supported
* join a friendly, welcoming and experienced Vet team with interests in Ophthalmology and Behaviour and another who enjoys soft tissue surgery.
* CPD allowance and certification encouraged and fully funded.
* Well located with excellent transport links, easy access to a bus and train station, quick direct connections to cities of York and also Leeds there is also plenty of free onsite parking
* relocation packages and visa sponsorship are available with this role
Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* some experience in practice
* good routine surgical and medical skills
