Job Description Regional Support Officer Care at Home Services Location: Across Devon Contract: Full-time Travel: Regular travel between service locations is required About the Role We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Regional Support Officer to join our Care at Home team. This is a mobile role providing operational support across multiple locations predominately in in Devon. You will work closely with Registered Managers and Care Managers to maintain high-quality care delivery, ensure compliance, and provide leadership to staff teams as needed. Key Responsibilities Support the effective running of services across the region, ensuring high standards of care and compliance. Carry out audits, quality assurance checks, and improvement actions in line with regulatory and organisational requirements. Provide management cover for Care Managers, including leading and supervising staff teams to ensure safe and person-centred care. Respond flexibly to service needs, including supporting rota management, staffing issues, and urgent operational tasks. Promote and maintain a positive culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Assist in mobilising new packages of care and supporting service growth across the region. Ensure excellent communication and teamwork with internal colleagues and external professionals. About The Role About You Experienced in the health and social care sector, ideally within domiciliary or community-based services. Skilled in audits, quality assurance, and regulatory standards. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Flexible, proactive, positive and able to adapt to changing service demands. Confident working independently across multiple locations. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Devon and further if required. Willing to work towards, or already qualified to Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
