A day in the life of…
As a Guest Services Manager at Crowne Plaza, no two days are the same. This varied and dynamic part-time role—primarily covering weekends—involves working across multiple departments to ensure every guest receives a warm, professional, and high-standard experience. The role includes a variety of staff benefits including, free onsite parking, staff meals, free access to gym and pool.
You are the face of the hotel during your shift, responsible for providing a friendly and welcoming environment from check-in to check-out. Shifts vary between 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and your presence sets the tone for the guest experience. Primarily weekends, however option to pick up more hours, for holiday cover etc.
Your duties span across:
* Reception: Managing arrivals and departures, handling reservations, responding to enquiries, and resolving any guest issues or complaints with tact and efficiency.
* Restaurant and Bar: Supporting the food and beverage team during busy periods to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
* Housekeeping Support: Assisting in maintaining high cleanliness standards, coordinating room readiness, and supporting the housekeeping team when needed.
* Health & Safety: Taking full responsibility for the health and safety of all guests and staff while on duty, including being the designated point of contact in case of a fire evacuation or emergency.
Excellent interpersonal skills, calm under pressure, and a solution-focused mindset are essential. Whether you're assisting a guest with a special request, stepping in to help with breakfast service, or leading an evacuation drill, your ability to adapt and maintain high standards makes you a key part of the hotel's success.
