Robert Half have partnered with a global manufacturing firm who are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with both manual and automation testing experience on a initial 12-month rolling contract. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, functionality, and compliance of software and systems within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Determine both general and specific quality requirements for software products.
2. Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to identify functionality issues.
3. Analyse test results and collaborate with developers to implement effective solutions.
4. Conduct final functionality reviews before product release to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.
5. Program and execute test cases and scripts to detect and correct coding defects.
6. Track, document, and manage quality issues from discovery to resolution.
7. Re-test and verify fixes for previously identified defects.
8. Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and workflows.
Requirements:
9. Proven experience in both manual and automated software testing.
10. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
11. Experience creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks.
12. Proficient in defect tracking and documentation tools.
13. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly.
14. Familiarity with working in regulated industries (pharmaceutical or manufacturing preferred).
