Commercial Claims Handler – Oxfordshire (Hybrid)
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join a forward-thinking insurance group in Oxfordshire. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly skilled team that delivers expert risk solutions for complex and high-value clients.
You’ll handle Property, Casualty and Motor claims from first notification through to settlement, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with commercial clients.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing a range of commercial claims, keeping clients informed at every stage
* Negotiating with insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes
* Producing accurate and timely documentation throughout the claims process
* Escalating potential issues promptly to ensure fair and efficient settlements
* Maintaining accurate claims records and coordinating communication between clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders
* Using your technical knowledge to resolve contentious or complex claims
* Supporting pre-renewal and renewal discussions with technical input
What we’re looking for
* Experience handling commercial property and/or casualty claims
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Client-focused approach with a genuine commitment to excellent service
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
* Cert CII qualification preferred but not essential
* Confident, proactive, and collaborative attitude
