HR Advisor
We're looking for an HR Advisor to join a growing organisation in a varied, generalist role. You'll support recruitment, employee relations, and performance management, while working closely with managers in a collaborative, people-focused environment.
The role
As HR Advisor, you will support managers and employees across a range of HR activities. You will take ownership of recruitment and onboarding, provide guidance on employee relations matters, and support the development of HR policies and processes. This role requires a proactive and organised individual who can work independently while contributing to a supportive HR function.
The main responsibilities
Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process, working closely with department leads and external recruitment agencies.
Screen applications, coordinate interviews, and ensure a professional candidate experience.
Schedule and deliver new starter induction sessions.
Ensure employment contracts and right-to-work checks are completed in line with legal and company requirements.
Support payroll administration for weekly and salaried team members.
Maintain accurate HR records and carry out general HR administrative duties.
Coordinate the performance review process across the company.
Provide HR advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
Support continuous improvement of HR policies and processes to enhance engagement.
Assist managers with absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance-related issues.
The ideal candidate
* CIPD or relevant third-level qualification.
* Previous experience in an HR role.
* Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practice.
* Proactive, organised, and professional approach to work.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
