Pump Installation & Service Engineer

A well-established and highly respected UK company specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of pumping equipment is looking to recruit a Pump Installation & Service Engineer to join its external site teams.
This is a varied, hands-on role working alongside an Electrical Site Engineer, supporting installations, commissioning, servicing and breakdowns across customer sites nationwide. Expect a fast-moving environment, technical variety, and genuine long-term career potential.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality engineering support on-site while representing the business professionally at all times.
Responsibilities include:

Attending nationwide installations, servicing and breakdown call-outs
*
Servicing, repairing and assembling pumps and pumping equipment
*
Supporting commissioning works alongside electrical engineers
*
Taking part in a standby rota covering weekends and bank holidays
*
Completing site reports after each visit and securing customer sign-off
*
Following company procedures and Health & Safety standards
*
Acting as a positive ambassador for the business and its services
*
Maintaining company vehicle, tools and van stock
*
Identifying training and development requirements
*
Remaining flexible to meet site and business needs
What We’re Looking For
Essential:

Mechanical qualification
*
Willingness to travel nationwide
*
Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
*
Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
*
Self-motivated and keen to learn
Desirable:
*
Experience in a similar field-based or maintenance role
*
Previous experience working with pumps
*
Confined Space training
*
First Aid certification
*
CSCS card
*
SSSTS
*
Knowledge of the pumping or related engineering industry
