About the role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our busy distribution team at a well-established logistics site in the Thames Valley region. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and proven experience operating Counterbalance or Pivot Steer (Bendi/Flexi) forklifts.

* Good literacy and numeracy skills
Main Duties/Responsibilities
In this role you will:
* Safely operate forklift trucks (CB or Pivot Steer) to move goods within the warehouse.
* Load and unload vehicles efficiently and accurately.
* Support general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and stock control
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Follow all health and safety procedures and site protocols
Qualifications/Licences/Certifications/Experience
* High/secondary school GCSE's or equivalent
* Generally there are no set entry requirements for this role
* More practical skills or experience instead of an actual accredited qualification; such as being physically able for the sometimes-strenuous work, being methodical, being able to follow instructions closely, and working well on teams
* Valid Counterbalance or Pivot Steer forklift licence
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
* Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Flexibility to work late shifts and occasional overtime
Desirable:
* GCSE A* to C or 4 to 9 in English, Maths and IT (particularly useful if you need to enter data and maintain inventories)
