Sports & Behaviour Support Mentor
Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire (NG31)
Pay: £95 - £105 per day
Start Date: ASAP | Contract: Long-term to permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm | Term Time Only
Are you passionate about sport and committed to supporting young people with their personal and academic development? Long Term Futures are working with a forward-thinking specialist school in Grantham to appoint a Sports & Behaviour Support Mentor.
This is a full-time, term-time role based in Grantham, with excellent transport links and free on-site parking - making it a great opportunity for candidates living in nearby areas such as Newark, Sleaford, Bingham, Southwell and Melton Mowbray.
About the Role:
Lead and support a range of inclusive sports and physical activities across the school
Deliver targeted interventions to help students manage behaviour and build positive routines
Work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
Model effective de-escalation strategies and encourage emotional resilience
Contribute to the school's sporting success and help retain its high-level sports recognitionWhat We're Looking For:
Experience supporting young people with SEMH, SEN or behavioural challenges
A background in sport, PE, youth work, coaching or a related field
