About the Role
This fully office-based role is perfect for a skilled legal cashier who enjoys accuracy, compliance, and operational finance. Please note, this position is not a people management role and doesnt involve chasing debtors, making it ideal for someone who prefers focusing on the day-to-day financial processes rather than supervising a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and supporting all aspects of the firms financial operations relating to legal cashiering
* Processing client and office account transactions in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules
* Handling daily banking, receipts, payments, and transfers
* Completing bank and client account reconciliations
* Supporting month-end finance processes
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal financial procedures
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure financial processes run smoothly
About You
* Minimum 5+ years experience working as a legal cashier xsngvjr within a law firm
* Strong knowledge of legal accounting procedures and regulatory compliance
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Confident managing multiple financial processes simultaneously
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proactive approach with the ability to work independently in a fully office-based environment
