As part of the KION ITS UK&IR Intralogistics team, the main purpose of this role is to develop and grow the sales & service revenues of Intralogistics Solutions, specifically including AGVs and AMRs. This role will be home-based, with significant UK travel and overnight stays as required.

* Increase sales of the KION range of AGVs and AMRs
* Identify opportunities to expand and extend business, and serve clients exceptionally
* Collaborate with the National Key Account and New Business Managers to promote and develop sales of AGVs & AMRs
* Manage tenders through to completion
* Work closely with Automation Project Engineers
* Coordinate with Project Managers & Robotic Application Engineers to ensure optimal routing and technical solutions before and after order receipt
* Promote AGVs within your designated region
* Utilize and understand the flow plan development tool
* Provide advice and expertise on Automation/Intralogistics to customers
* Visit customer sites, develop solutions, prepare detailed proposals, and present solutions at all levels
* Meet challenging targets
* Calculate return on investment at both detailed and overview levels
* Understand solution-based selling techniques
* Follow internal submission procedures before presenting to the leadership team and customers
Tasks and Qualifications:
* Ideally possess a good understanding of AGVs and solution-based selling; support will be provided to the right candidate
* Proven sales record, preferably in sales development
* Experience managing large tenders
* Strong communication and influence skills across all levels
* Understanding of materials handling flows within warehouse operations
* Experience creating and presenting proposals and PowerPoint presentations
* Confident communicator with stakeholders internally (e.g., Directors) and externally (e.g., customers)
* IT literacy, including intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills
* Valid full driving license
