A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join their Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2026.
This is a full-time position, teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, offered on a fixed-term basis initially until April 2027. The role would suit either an experienced practitioner or an enthusiastic ECT looking to develop their practice in a supportive school environment.
The Role
Deliver engaging and high-quality Spanish lessons at KS3 and KS4
Inspire pupils to develop confidence and enthusiasm for languages
Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet varying abilities
Contribute positively to the wider MFL department
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress, and achievement
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has strong subject knowledge of Spanish
Is confident teaching KS3 and KS4
Demonstrates effective classroom management skills
Is committed to inclusive practice and pupil progress
