Job Title: Housekeeper / Cleaner
Location: HM Prison Long Lartin
Job Type: Temporary Full-Time Contract
Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour
Schedule: 37.5hrs Monday–Friday
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Housekeeper/Cleaner for a temporary full-time role at HM Prison Long Lartin. The position involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various areas of the prison, ensuring high standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean areas of the prison, using colour-coded equipment and following health and safety guidelines.
Meet contractual cleaning requirements and customer satisfaction standards.
Control stock levels and order cleaning consumables as needed.
Safely operate cleaning machinery.
Report any issues or broken equipment to the supervisor.
Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard within set time frames.
Requirements:
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience, including safe use of chemicals and machinery.
Willingness to undergo security clearance.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
