Account Director - Global Digital Marketing Agency Brighton (Hybrid | 1-2 days in office per month I'm currently partnering with a high-performing, internationally focused digital marketing agency that specialises in helping ambitious brands scale across global markets. With a unique model that blends in-house expertise with a global network of local market specialists, they deliver culturally intelligent campaigns that genuinely resonate in-region - and drive real commercial impact. They're now looking for an Account Director to take ownership of key client relationships and play a strategic role in shaping international digital campaigns. The Role As Account Director, you'll act as the senior day-to-day lead across a portfolio of international clients, working closely with senior leadership while mentoring junior team members. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategy, client leadership, and delivery oversight in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. What You'll Be Doing Acting as a trusted strategic partner to global clients Managing a portfolio of 3-5 clients. Leading and evolving digital strategies across multiple international markets Reviewing campaign performance and proactively identifying growth opportunities Coordinating internal channel specialists alongside a global network of in-market experts Bringing cultural insight and curiosity into every campaign Mentoring and supporting Senior Account Managers and Executives Ensuring consistently high-quality delivery across all client work What They're Looking For Strong experience within a digital marketing agency environment. Ideally, experince managing proffesional service clients. Proven success in managing and growing senior client relationships Solid understanding of paid media (search and/or social) Ability to move beyond delivery into strategic, solutions-led account management Experience working with cross-functional teams Confident communicator across presentations, calls, and written comms A genuine interest in international marketing and cultural nuance Who You Are Strategic, curious, and commercially minded Calm under pressure and comfortable managing multiple priorities Detail-oriented with high standards for output Collaborative and proactive in sharing ideas Energetic, personable, and confident with clients Motivated by delivering meaningful impact for brands Why This Opportunity?
