Winner Recruitment are currently working with a Service provider who focus on hard services within the Facilities management sector across retail sectors covering Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds and surrounding areas. They are looking to recruit for an AC Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of AC systems including VRV, Fan coil units and AHU. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment, in various working sectors. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* As a AC engineer you will be working across a mixture of retail sites performing Planned and reactive maintenance to ensure systems are running smoothly, including checking filters, maintaining VRV/VRF and Fan coil units
* You will be diagnosing issues with air conditioning systems, such as poor cooling, unusual noises, or electrical malfunctions, and performing necessary repairs.
* You will carry out regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become serious problems, including checking for leaks, blockages, or wear and tear on components.
* You will be working on your own or with a small team of engineers across other disciplines.
* You will work in line with Health and safety, working closely with other engineers and subcontractors when needed.
* Be part of An on call Rota
Candidate:
* As a Refrigeration engineer you must hold the relevant qualifications such as NVQ in AC (or equivalent) & Fgas
* You must have experience in a similar environment performing maintenance, servicing and diagnosing refrigeration units
* You must be client facing and have great written and communication skills
