Job summary University Hospitals Sussex (Royal Sussex County Hospital & Princess Royal Hospital) is delighted to offer further fellow posts which will be available from August 2026 for 12 monthsto undertake projects in perioperative care. These posts have been specifically designed tooffer participation in major quality improvement and research within the department (detailsbelow). In addition, there will be opportunities for career development in a busy teaching hospital. The posts offer broad clinical experience alongside non-clinical projects. These will all contribute to the preparation for competitive ST4 application or CESR application. The roles would also be ideal for expansion of career portfolio ahead ofconsultant applications. In addition, there will be off-site on call generalist consultant support, aswell as on call consultants for all the sub-specialties (neuro, cardiac and paediatrics). There isa separate ICU on call team onsite. Flexibility will be required to participate in on callrotas across both sites (RSCH and Princess Royal Hospital).
