Job Purpose
Accountable for Asset Management capabilities across the organization through the development, embedment, and delivery of effective asset lifecycle management, risk management, and supporting system insights.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Manage the Asset Lifecycle capability across the organization.
* Ensure UU’s approach to Asset Management meets the criteria set out in ISO55000.
* Maintain an industry-leading approach to managing risk within the organization.
* Ensure that systems supporting Asset Management are available, fit for purpose, and have robust development plans.
* Develop, implement, and manage the Operating and Maintenance Strategy.
Technical Skills & Experience
* Deep practical and theoretical knowledge of Asset Management in the water industry or other regulated/non-regulated sectors.
* Understanding of risk management concepts and ability to manage them effectively.
* Strategic and innovative thinking with the ability to create and deliver aligned plans.
* Experience in preparing regulatory submissions, resource planning, and managing sensitive issues.
* Ability to generate confidence internally and externally as a subject matter expert on regulatory and asset management issues.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
* Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or at least ten years of relevant experience.
Desirable Qualifications
* Institute of Asset Management Diploma.
