Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Adventure Supervisor to lead and oversee our outdoor activity programmes. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisor skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest services. The Adventure Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of organisation and guest satisfaction.
Duties
* Lead and supervise adventure activities, ensuring all sessions are delivered safely and engagingly
* Coordinate daily schedules for outdoor programmes, including equipment preparation and activity planning
* Manage a team of activity guides and staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
* Deliver excellent guest services by addressing participant needs and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
* Oversee the maintenance and safety checks of all equipment used during activities
* Handle guest enquiries and feedback to enhance overall experience
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of programmes and events
* Assist in organising special events or themed activity days as required
Experience
* Proven supervisor experience, preferably within outdoor adventure or hospitality sectors
* Strong background in guest services with excellent communication skills
* Experience in supervising teams and coordinating group activities
* Knowledge of health and safety standards related to outdoor activities is desirable
* Passionate about outdoor pursuits with the ability to motivate and inspire others
* Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is advantageous
