As our Group Fleet Manager, you will lead the strategic and day-to-day management of our national fleet of over 850 vehicles. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with our operational and ESG ambitions.
You will develop a long-term fleet strategy, oversee procurement and disposal, and manage key supplier relationships. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, you will support our colleagues across the business and help us achieve our Net Zero goals. This role is based in Datchet and offers an excellent opportunity to lead one of the UK’s most dynamic fleet operations.
About You
We seek a candidate who is operationally strong and strategically focused—a confident leader with a proactive mindset and experience managing large-scale vehicle fleets.
To succeed, you will need:
* A minimum of 5 years’ senior experience in fleet or transport leadership
* A strong understanding of compliance, maintenance cycles, and fleet strategy
* Ability to lead change and improve performance through systems, data, and innovation
* Experience managing supplier contracts and negotiating deals
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in fleet management systems and Excel
* A full UK driving licence
