Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and running quality parts on CNC machines. You will need to be able to multitask across a number of machines and be proactive to ensure components meet specifications and are in accordance to engineering drawings. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will contribute significantly to our client's operational success. Main areas of responsibility are as follows, but are not limited to: Operation and setting of machinery, CNC machining centres and CNC lathes, to facilitate the manufacture of components as required. Complete relevant ‘start-up’ & ‘close-down’ processes, as identified within the department. Ensure parts are produced in line with quality procedures and correct to engineering drawings, and ensure that if any defects are identified they are segregated from the batch and the relevant non-conformance procedure is followed. Ensure raw materials used are from the correct batch, and all batches and quantities used are correctly recorded to meet traceability requirement.
