ROLE- Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC) LOCATION- Rochdale TERM- Permanent SALARY- £40,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience My client manufactures bespoke engineering solutions for industrial applications. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar 3 or more years of industry experience working in a manufacturing environment Ideally have some experience in a process industry within HVAC & Building services Knowledge and experience with Engineering consultancy, construction validation commissioning and design Strong knowledge and proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar Experience supervising others or managing teams would be ideal Knowledge of the RIBA stages Good theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerances Have excellent communication skills with experience in a customer-facing role Be a flexible team-player Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings Liaising with manufacturing providers Completing designs, specifications and drawings around, air ventilation, heating/cooling, b...
