Looking for a peer\/ support worker for a wheelchair-using football fanatic in Tonbridge. \r\n\r\n I am a 22-year-old young man looking for a sports enthusiast to help me engage in my love of football. Football is my greatest love, so ideally, you will also be a lover of the beautiful game. You will help me attend my matches and training at the weekend. You will need to be energetic and enjoy a variety of sports. \r\n\r\n I have Merosin deficient congenital MD. and am a wheelchair user. You will need to support me with my personal care. \r\n\r\n I am an extrovert and a real chatterbox. My peer supporter will be someone I can have fun with and who can take a joke. \r\n\r\n I have my own adapted car that you will need to use when taking me out. You will need to meet the age criteria for my vehicle insurance (over 21) \r\n\r\n Hours will be flexible and will include weekdays and some weekend work. \r\n\r\n MUST HAVE: \r\n\r\n \r\n\t Previous experience and an understanding of working with a wheelchair user. \r\n\t Training completed in moving and handling (can be provided if necessary) \r\n\t Hold a full, clean driving licence. \r\n \r\n\r\n Paid holiday entitlement of 20 days plus bank holidays will be calculated pro rata plus access to NEST pension scheme. \r\n\r\n Due to the sensitive nature of this role, I will be considering male applicants only in accordance with the provisional of the Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010) pursuant to Schedule 9 Part 1 \r\n
