Psychology Graduate Mental Health Assistant - Pathway to Clinical Careers

Location: Huntingdon

Contract: Full-Time Long-Term

Salary: 460-500 per week

Are you a Psychology or Criminology graduate aiming to start a career in mental health, clinical practice, and education?

This role offers hands-on experience supporting students with complex needs in Huntingdon, providing a clear pathway toward roles such as Assistant Psychologist, Clinical Practitioner, or Therapist within a specialist clinical team.

Your Role: Psychology Graduate Mental Health Assistant

Based in a highly regarded SEN school in Huntingdon, supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs, autism, and behavioral challenges. Working alongside a dedicated clinical and therapeutic team, your responsibilities will include:

1. Delivering tailored 1:1 and small group interventions
2. Implementing therapeutic strategies to support emotional regulation
3. Collaborating with educational psychologists, counselors, and therapists
4. Supporting the personal and academic development of students with complex needs
5. Building meaningful, trusting relationships to help students thrive
