Role: 2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: Wigan
Work pattern: On-site
Salary: £32,000-£37,000

Key Responsibilities:
* Resolve complex IT issues escalated from the 1st Line Support team.
* Perform routine system monitoring to ensure ongoing performance and stability.
* Support the onboarding of new clients, including configuration and deployment of hardware and software.
* Collaborate with internal teams on larger IT projects and infrastructure improvements.
* Contribute technical expertise to the design and evolution of client IT environments.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience working within an MSP environment.
* Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS and DHCP
* Experience supporting and troubleshooting virtual machines
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
* Certifications (such as MS900 or AZ900) are highly desirable.
