Lorry loader engineer The Field Service Crane Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, providing technical support, conducting preventive maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis. Main Duties • Carry out routine maintenance and servicing. • Diagnosis and rectification of malfunctions in electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. • Regional travel as required for breakdowns. • Carry out modifications to cranes. • Ensuring company procedures are followed. • Ensuring all digital paperwork is completed correctly. • Representing the company in a professional manner at all times. • Health & Safety compliant. Experience • Experience in maintaining Cranes is desirable but on the job training will be available. • Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic/electrical systems. • Experience in maintaining and service plant machinery at least, is essential. • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicles/Plant Machinery or equivalent. • Be able to provide digital reports via tablet (provided). Personal Qualities The candidate will require. • Good time keeping. • Good communicator. • Must be flexible in working hours as required. • Ability to work under pressure & to set deadlines. • Willingness to learn and develop skills. • Strong work ethic. • Full UK Driving license.
