We are looking for a committed Teaching assistant to work full time in a Designated Specialist Provision (DSP) within a vibrant primary schiol in Halewood, Liverpool.
Classroom organisation and teaching methods take account of the individual learning requirements of the pupils and various strategies and techniques are used throughout the DSP by highly skilled and committed staff who work very much as a team. The DSP follows a unique curriculum entitled ‘Curriculum Around the Pupil’ (CAP)– please see the curriculum section below for more details.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
* Assisting in the delivery of engaging, interactive, and inclusive lessons
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to students within the provision
* Encouraging and inspiring children to reach their full potential both academically and socially
* Supporting classroom management, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment
* Supervising students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school activities
