Job Title: Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Bristol
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

We're looking for a Senior Acoustic Consultant to strengthen our Bristol team - an opportunity to work within a supportive, forward-thinking environment on a diverse portfolio of projects, all with a shared focus on delivering outstanding acoustic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead acoustic design work across sectors including education, healthcare, residential, commercial and performance spaces.
Provide expert technical advice, ensuring designs comply with all relevant standards and best-practice guidance.
Translate complex acoustic concepts into clear, accessible language for clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Undertake site inspections, acoustic assessments and sound insulation testing.
Use modelling tools such as CATT, Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A and Revit.
Support ongoing improvements to team processes, tools and methodologies.
Mentor and guide junior team members.
What You'll Bring
Strong foundation in building acoustics and associated regulations.
Proven experience managing projects across multiple sectors.
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
Hands-on site experience, including sound insulation testing.
Familiarity with-or willingness to develop skills in-acoustic and environmental modelling software.
A collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for sustainable, intelligent design.
A Typical Day Might Include
Partnering with architects, engineers and clients to develop robust acoustic strategies.
Completing site visits for testing, assessments and performance checks.
Building and analysing acoustic models and simulations.
Preparing technical reports and contributing to wider design documentation.
Sharing expertise, supporting junior colleagues and encouraging innovation.
Cultivating strong, lasting client relationships.
