About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. This is a hands‑on role involving installation, service, maintenance and fault diagnosis on a wide range of commercial gas and heating systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, commission and certify commercial gas systems, boilers and associated plant.
What you will be doing
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing on commercial heating and gas equipment.
* Respond to reactive call‑outs, troubleshoot faults and complete repairs efficiently.
* Conduct safety checks, pressure testing, flue analysis and system purging.
* Maintain accurate service records, documentation and compliance certificates.
* Work collaboratively with site managers, clients and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Follow all relevant safety, compliance and quality standards at all times.
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Fully qualified Commercial Gas Engineer with valid Gas Safe (or equivalent) commercial gas certifications.
* Strong understanding of commercial boilers, plant rooms and large‑scale heating systems.
* Proven experience in installation, service, maintenance and diagnostics in commercial environments.
* Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
