Offer description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our client to work alongside the Finance Director.

The hours can be flexible to 20 to 25 hours per week dependent on your and the businesses requirements.

The ideal candidate will be managing various financial tasks so will definitely need the ability to multi-task. You will be managing both the purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring absolute accuracy in data entry. You will also be responsible for working on the customer accounts, aged debtors and credit control as well as being responsible for managing credit limits and trade insurance requirements for the accounts accurately to ensure cover at all times.

In addition you will be managing multiple daily bank reconciliations as well as monthly payroll on Sage Payroll.

Skills sought:
- Proficiency in Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll
- Strong understanding of accounts processes
- Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
