As a Graduate Software Engineer, you’ll dive straight into real projects, working with passionate engineers to create the brains behind Labman’s automation systems.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and integrate software for cutting‑edge robotic and automation systems.
* Work across desktop, embedded, and cloud applications — helping control everything from motors to data dashboards.
* Write clean, efficient, well‑structured code that makes robots smarter and more reliable.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and design teams to bring full systems to life.
* Test, debug, and refine your work to ensure seamless performance.
* Join client discussions to understand requirements and shape software solutions.
What You’ll Bring
* A 2:1 or above Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
* Strong interest in automation, robotics, and real‑world engineering software.
* Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, Python, JavaScript).
* An understanding of object‑oriented programming and software design principles.
* Curiosity, creativity, and the drive to learn quickly.
* Team spirit and good communication — because great robots are never built alone.
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience using .NET, WPF, or embedded systems (even from uni projects).
* Familiarity with Git, Linux, or robotics frameworks (like ROS).
* An eye for UI/UX or an interest in hardware–software integration.
