The Role
At Emteq Labs, we’re developing the next generation of wearable technology to understand human emotions and behaviour in real time. Our newest product, Sense Lite, combines smart glasses and an app to help people improve their dietary habits and emotional wellbeing through real-time insights.
We are looking for a Product Research Assistant to help us bring this revolutionary product to consumers and professionals, gather feedback, and share insights with our product and design teams.
You’ll play a key role in organising and supporting user studies, from recruiting participants to capturing their experiences, and in communicating what we learn through reports, blog posts, and social media.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who is curious about how technology can improve wellbeing, enjoys talking to people, and wants to gain hands-on experience in research and product development.
Key Responsibilities
* Participant Recruitment: Build and maintain lists of professionals and potential participants and manage outreach campaigns.
* Study Coordination: Organise usability and experience tests, including scheduling, participant communication, and logistics.
* Data Collection: Support research sessions, take structured notes, and capture participant feedback.
* Insight Reporting: Summarise findings and share clear, actionable feedback with the wider team.
* Content Creation: Write blogs, articles, and short social media posts about the product, user insights, and wellbeing topics.
* Community Engagement: Support collaborations with professionals (e.g. dietitians, wellness coaches) and help grow our user community.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is hardworking and combines strong people skills with curiosity and initiative. The ideal candidate enjoys both research and communication.
Must-Have Skills
* Some experience or education in UX research, psychology, nutrition, behavioural science, or related fields.
* Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with participants and professionals.
