Panoramic Associates are working with a council in Suffolk in the search for a Civil Engineering Surveyor who will lead civil engineering projects for the clients housing and corporate assets, ensuring adherence to budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify civil engineering investment needs and plan projects accordingly.
* Manage project lifecycle following RIBA Plan of Work Framework.
* Monitor expenditure and ensure value for money.
* Collaborate with internal teams and consultants for project delivery.
* Contribute to corporate and asset strategies.
* Prepare quarterly reports on project progress and budget.
* Procure contracts adhering to organizational policies.
* Provide technical advice and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication.
* Address complaints and inquiries in accordance with policies.
* Support IT systems development and implementation.
* Keep informed of organizational changes and industry developments.
* Assist in staff training and attend Health & Safety meetings as required.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience in civil engineering project management.
* Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work Framework.
* Strong budget management skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
