Enabling Support Worker – Lisburn, Northern Ireland

Location: Lisburn

Salary: £12.65 per hour

Hours Per Week: Full and part time

At the organisation they are recruiting for Enabling Support Workers. This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, as the salary requirements set by the Home Office are not satisfied.

The Role

* Provide support and encouragement by taking direction from the person supported and the person-centred support plan.
* Maintain accurate records at work in line with service requirements.
* May be required to administer personal care and medication.
* There may be a requirement to cover sleep-in sessions; sleep-in pay is an additional £60 per sleep-in.
* Work within Independent Living services that offer flexible, client-driven care, health and inclusion support for a wide range of needs and living situations.
* Support may be for as little as an hour or up to 24 hours a day, helping people to engage with life and the local community (homecare, community activities, day services) for all ages from late teens to elderly.
