Responsibilities
* Lead the pre-school room and ensure high-quality care and education.
* Plan and deliver engaging play-based activities in line with EYFS.
* Support children’s development, independence, and school readiness.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Monitor and track children’s progress.
* Support and guide team members within the room.
* Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential.
* Proven experience as a Room Leader – essential.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
* A nurturing, caring approach to childcare.
* Confident leadership skills with ability to support and guide a team.
* Strong communication skills when working with families and colleagues.
* Passion for supporting children’s development and school readiness.
