We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties
* Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
* Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
* Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the relevant healthcare professionals.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene protocols.
Skills
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Empathy and compassion towards individuals with varying needs and backgrounds.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within a care setting.
* Previous experience in a care role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
