Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Paediatric Cerebral Palsy Banding: Band 6 Location: Harlow, Essex Working hours: Full-time Start date: ASAP Rate: £40K - £55K Duration: Permanent, Ongoing We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our esteemed client’s team in Harlow., Essex. Based in a world-renowned paediatric therapy clinic offering the best and most innovative paediatric therapy tools and methods. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide skilful intervention to infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents with cerebral palsy. Key Responsibilities: Treatment of motor deficits and functional impairments or difficulties primarily in the paediatric population. Utilise multiple frames of reference to inform practice, including but not limited to: neurodevelopmental, developmental biomechanical, sensory integration, motor learning, cognitive, and rehabilitation. Patient/caregiver training in the use of assistive technology devices, mobility devices, orthotic or prosthetic devices. Create a safe, professional, and supportive environment where clients, families, and colleagues feel empowered to succeed. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team to advance a client’s needs. Qualifications and Experience: HCPC registered. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field. Post qualification experience in paediatrics Good physical health and fitness as therapeutic handling is manually intensive. Employees are entitled to two days (16 hours total) of Wellness Time annually plus a reimbursement of up to £100 per wellness day for an appointment focused around physical and mental wellbeing.
