Conveyancing Assistant – Respected Local Firm
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm looking for a proactive Conveyancing Assistant to support their busy property team.
In this hands-on role, you’ll assist a senior fee earner with a variety of administrative tasks related to property transactions. It’s a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to grow their career in conveyancing.
Our client has a strong local reputation and is known for providing reliable, client-focused legal services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with residential property transactions from start to finish
* Drafting legal documents and handling post-completion tasks
* Completing ID checks and anti-money laundering procedures
* Managing and updating case files throughout the transaction
* Communicating with clients, agents, and solicitors to coordinate progress
* Responding to enquiries by phone, email, and in person
* Ordering searches and supporting exchange and completion processes
* Opening, closing, and archiving files as needed
* Taking part in relevant training to stay compliant and informed
What We’re Looking For:
* At least 2 years’ experience in a conveyancing support or similar legal admin role
* Good working knowledge of conveyancing processes
* Strong organisation and admin abilities with attention to detail
* Able to manage a busy workload independently
* Clear communicator with a proactive, professional approach
