Requirements
* You lead by example. While your primary focus is client delivery, you maintain the technical depth required to guide engagements end-to-end from initial architecture through to production:
* Engineering: Full stack experience across several languages & data, for e.g. .Net, React/Typescript, javascript, SQL, Cosmos, YAML, JSON. An advanced understanding of modern engineering practices such as pairing, mobbing, TDD, security by design, error handling, AI use in development with tools like CoPilot / Claude, prompt engineering and a shift left approach using observability tools like Datadog and Dynatrace
* Technology Breadth: You bring deep expertise across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure Landing Zones, Entra ID, cloud-native patterns such as serverless and event-driven architectures, serverless, and a wide range of PaaS and IaaS workloads with strong alignment to the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF)
* DevOps Practices: You are fluent in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration, with hands‑on experience across a broad technology range, including Terraform, Bicep, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes
* Platform Expertise: You have hands‑on experience with building GenAI and the Azure AI Foundry ecosystem, Data Platforms (Fabric / Databricks), and the breadth of Azure PaaS and IaaS services
* Security & Governance: You understand Zero Trust architecture principles and have practical experience with compliance, FinOps, observability, BCDR, monitoring, logging, and SIEM
* Architecture Design: You produce clear, considered architectural documentation, HLDs, LLDs, ADRs, and can lead solutions workshops, articulating complex ideas confidently to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* Certifications: Hold relevant industry certifications, e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Hashicorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator

* We are seeking Principal Engineer (hands‑on Architect) to lead client engagements and expand our Azure capability. This pivotal role requires a balance of leading on client, driving the Azure practice proposition in the local market, and deepening our partnerships through genuine technical expertise.
* You will work closely with AND's global cloud practice team and local leadership to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients
* Technology Engineering Leadership: You have a proven track record of leading complex Azure software engineering engagements. You excel at navigating enterprise‑scale problem‑solving, turning technical challenges into opportunities for our clients. You have a rapid development ethos, through iterative lean development practices
* Stakeholder Artistry: You are a master of client‑facing delivery. You can translate complex cloud architectures into tangible business value, managing multi‑vendor environments with a focus on long‑term partnership
* Hands‑on Mindset: You are comfortable leading engagements from the front, whether embedded directly in a customer team and guiding engineering teams. You bring a bias for delivery and are ready to roll up your sleeves when it matters helping teams succeed
* Quality Advocate: You take personal pride in the integrity of your work. You champion quality assurance, security, and performance as a mindset — ensuring the solutions we build for clients are robust, reliable, and respected
* Industry Stewardship: You are a lifelong learner who keeps a pulse on industry standards, emerging cloud patterns, and best practices
