The Bridge School - Home We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and resilient Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our committed team. As a Level 3 Senior Teaching Assistant at The Bridge School, you will: Support pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties throughout all aspects of their school day and education Assist with communication development using AAC, sensory strategies, and specialist approaches Provide personal care, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support as appropriate (full training provided) Work collaboratively with teachers, professionals and families Support pupils on educational visits and in the local community Help deliver engaging activities tailored to individual needs Build trusting relationships that support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, safety, and independence Be flexible and confident in working across multiple sites as required to meet the needs of the school Make a difference to the lives of the children and young people you support and their families Take responsibility for the class group acting as a cover supervisor for times when the teacher is not in class e.g. parent meetings. Assist the class teacher in maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for all pupils and staff.
